		<description>Even though I&#039;ve never called it &quot;STATE&quot; I guess I&#039;m almost in STATE 90% of the time now.  I exercise 5 times a week, eat healthy, get plenty of sleep, and keep up with my personal hygiene!  I think when you take care of yourself, it can become a natural byproduct, especially once you can see the NEGATIVE options of not taking care of yourself.</description>

I heard some great advice at a Dan John strength workshop not too long ago.  I&#039;ve never forgotten it.  

He said, &quot;The goal is to keep the goal the goal.&quot;  That&#039;s it.  Meaning, once you&#039;ve chosen a goal, don&#039;t get distracted by anything else.  All of your efforts and behaviors have to match that one goal or it&#039;s no longer the goal.  

That&#039;s how I stick to my guns.  There are days when you punch the clock.  That&#039;s where real progress comes from.  Not every day is PR day.  But that&#039;s ok.  Most people don&#039;t have enough patience to stick to something for a month, let alone the years it might take to do something real.</description>
