Yes it will initially make costs go up for everyone from consumers all the way to manufacturers and distributors. However we will get much better quality products and the fakers will be weeded out. I think in the long run it will improve supplements and the supplement industry overall.Great post!-John

Frankly as someone in the industry, I hope supplements are put through at least a more rigorous testing period. So why not just buy caffeine pills (very inexpensive shit) and get yourself some Cell Rush which has Creatine to boot. This will definitely kick up your hockey game to another level: http://flawlessfitnessbook.com/blog/supplement-review-cell-rush-by-aaefx/Just be warned that from what I've experienced... Cell Rush is potent shit. Don't be a hero and take more than 1 serving.

From what I know, Jack3d is caffeine + beta-Alanine. Any suggestions on another pre workout that works as good as jack3d but tastes better?

I just started using Jack3d before my hockey games and it works amazing. To gain weight, eat a surplus of calories. What I meant was, you don't have to specifically eat a "protein food" like an extra slab of beef or chicken breast, or a protein shake, after a meal of "carb foods" like speghetti. Most ppl end up with this sort of protein guilt when they don't realise that you actually have a lot of protein in pasta and quinoa, etc. This makes them eat so much they end up gaining fat! And I don't have much time for energy drinks like greens drinks either. I just think it's unnecessary and you should push yourself naturally. sure, they may make you perform better, due to psychology that you've taken an "enhancer" or something but... Just doesn't work for me!

Mm, yeah you’re right of course! To gain weight, eat a surplus of calories. Positive nitrogen balance is one thing, but to gain sheer mass you need to EAT sheer mass. It doesn't work any other way.Well it does... it's called steroids. But I don't want bitch tits and I'm guessing you don't either.

@Clement
Only thing I disagree is the fact where you mention you don’t need much protein to build muscle. I agree with you on all this - I personally believe that supplements are absolutely un-needed. I may be only 19 and that's why I think they're unnecessary and expensive, but I don't believe I'm ever gonna have any use for them. They're just bs. You can get enough vitamins and nutrients from foods you eat! Just think of salmon and whole eggs... I don't even believe you need much protein to build muscle! Just sticking to whole, natural foods and eating till the point of satisfaction and using low rep, high weight sets and explosive exercises... Now THAT'S exercise, doncha think??

Hey fj, great outspoken post, as always! As far as my opinion is concerned...I'm willing to pay premium price, for the simple fact that I know that I'll be having something that has been tested and approved.

I’m definitely not a fit jerk, however I have read about the placebo effect earlier and was pretty happy to find out that how it is helping the people.
